PBPC Family,
As a follow up to our celebration of Pentecost on Sunday, there was a great article in Christianity Today on the restraining work of the Holy Spirit. In reflecting on Pentecost, there is much emphasis on the Holy Spirit's breaking down of boundaries and borders, as there should be! The gift of the Holy Spirit shows how God flings wide heaven's doors in welcome to all. We do well to remember this truth.
It was helpful to also consider the ways the Spirit says "No". The applications at the end are particularly geared towards pastoral ministry, but I think they have implications for us all. May you be blessed and opened up ever more deeply to the work of the Spirit in your life.

Food as Medicine - June 6
Local author and anti-inflammation expert Cynthia Blancaflor will be giving a talk on using food as medicine on June 6 from 11:00am-12:30pm in the Church Cafe. This is a community event utilizing PBPC's space. Click HERE for more information.
Celebrate our Graduates - June 7
Join us for worship in the Cafe and a potluck after the service. We will be celebrating our High School graduates in worship that morning.
