PBPC Family,
This last week, I received a ministry and prayer update from Grace Al-Zoughbi and Michael Arteen, a missionary couple we support as a church. Grace is a theology professor who spends her time teaching and equipping Arab students for ministry in the Middle East. Michael is a chaplain and pastor who supports, equips, and disciples Christians in the Middle East, North and West Africa. Many of the Christians he travels to support are isolated some live under fear of persecution.
Due to some of the sensitive nature of their ministry update, I can't include it in this email. But if you would like to support their ministry, either in prayer or financially, their missionary page is HERE.
At the end of their letter, they shared a few prayer requests.
- Pray that the Lord would raise up more workers for His harvest field across North and West Africa.
- Pray for believers in Mauritania, that they would be strengthened, protected, and encouraged and for lasting fruit from the training in Senegal and for growing discipleship networks there.
- Pray for Grace’s ongoing work in theological education, especially in equipping women for faithful leadership and service.
- Pray for wisdom, fruitful partnerships, and open doors for our upcoming work in Egypt this July.

To help us stay on top of our building, we have created a Request Form. If you see something that needs to be replenished, or if there are missing supplies, please fill this out and return it to Darshania. Printed copies will also be available in the Narthex.
Food Pantry - May 13
Join us for our next food pantry on Wednesday May 13 from 5:00-6:00pm. If you can help pack groceries, please arrive by 4:30pm.
New Members Class - May 17
We will host a class for new members on Sunday May 17 after service from 12:00-3:00pm. Lunch will be provided. If you are interested, please let Calvin know at pastor@pbpc.org.
Church Gardening Day - May 23 or May 30
Mark your calendars for either May 23 or May 30. We are partnering with local California Native plant enthusiasts to relandscape alongside Park Blvd and Hampel. More details to come!
