PBPC Family,
This Sunday is Pentecost Sunday, the celebration of the gift of God's Holy Spirit first poured out on Jesus' disciples at the Feast of Pentecost. It is also, the Church Universal's birthday! The church's globe-spanning reality was foreshadowed that day when people from all over the known world were present when the Spirit was poured out. So as we gather for worship on Sunday, we do so with Christians around the globe. And though we will sing, speak, and pray in different languages, it is the one and same Spirit uniting us all in a common faith.
I also want to invite you to join us for a Church Garden day on Saturday, May 23 from 10:00-2:00pm (see the flyer below). Darshania has been working with some of our neighbors to turn the strip of landscape along Park Blvd into a California native plant garden. Our work party on Saturday will be the first step towards that. Come for some (or all of it)! More information below.

To help us stay on top of our building, we have created a Request Form. If you see something that needs to be replenished, or if there are missing supplies, please fill this out and return it to Darshania. Printed copies will also be available in the Narthex.
Church Gardening Day - May 23
Join us for a church gardening day on Saturday, May 23 from 10am-2:00pm. We're going to sheet mulch the strip of landscape along Park Blvd. Please bring gloves, water, sunscreen, and small garden tools. And bring a friend!
