PBPC Family,

This Sunday, we will begin a new sermon series exploring the Psalms. I will be out of town but Javier Tarango-Sho, Intervarsity Bay Area Director and one of our Mission Partners, will kick things off with a sermon on Psalm 23.

In conjunction with the Psalms series, we will read Open and Unafraid by David Taylor. Our first discussion will be on August 9. There's one more book left in the Narthex - if we run out, you can also purchase one online. Though our sermon series on the Psalms will be through August we will read Open and Unafraid through Advent; this will give us time to appreciate the book and not rush through it.

Herban Gathering Collective - July 25
Shereel Washington, owner of Ixalted Natural Body Care and Botanicals, will host an Herban Gathering Workshop on Saturday July 25 from 11:00-1:30pm. This is a workshop to explore the medical plants that are in your pantry, garden, and neighborhood. Cost is $60. For more information, including registration, click HERE.

PBPC Landscaping Presentation - August 2
PBPC is partnering with Bee Highway to transform our landscaping into a garden for California native plants. This will both beautify our neighborhood and create a "pollinator highway" along Park Blvd. Stick around after service on Sunday August 2 to hear a presentation on the plans and how you can help!

Open and Unafraid: Psalm Book Study
In August, we will begin a new sermon series on the Psalms. In conjunction, we will read David Taylor's book Open and Unafraid. Pick up a free copy on Sunday. We will begin the book study on August 9.
