PBPC Family,
We are only a few days away from our big Rummage Sale on Saturday! The train has left the station and there's no turning back.
As I said on Sunday, there have been some slight changes to our set up plans so please take note of the following information.
- Please drop off any items for the sale between Tuesday (8/29) and Thursday (8/31). Please check in with the office beforehand - you can either buzz the front door or call the office phone at 510.530.5311. If you are bringing items for the sale, please consider whether they will sell or if they should go straight to Goodwill or Salvation Army. At the end of the sale, we will be loading up a truck and taking everything to Salvation Army - the less we have to take, the better!
- We are currently setting up items in the Cafe - LPF is in session and we won't have access to the gym until Friday at noon. If you can come by today through Thursday to help organize the tables in the Cafe, we'd appreciate the help.
- We will need help on Friday setting up the gym between 12-5pm. We will put together the final touches on everything and make sure we are prepared for Saturday morning.
- Saturday will be a busy day. Please consider serving for some or all of the day! This will also be a great opportunity for us to welcome people who may not normally visit our church.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out. Looking forward to a great day together and praying that all the funds raised can be a blessing to City Team and their ministries.

Simplicity Series
NO Simplicity Series meeting this week due to the Rummage Sale. For more info on the rummage sale, read the beginning of the email :)
Church Rummage Sale - September 2 from 8am-2pm
As part of our Simplicity Learning Lab, we will have a Rummage Sale on Saturday September 2 from 8am-2pm. All proceeds will go to City Team.
Glenview Ice Cream Social: September 10 from 1-4pm
The Glenview Neighborhood Association is hosting an Ice Cream Social on Sunday September 10 from 1-4pm at the Hollywood Triangle. Volunteers are needed - click HERE to volunteer.
Pet Blessing - September 17
As part of our celebration of the Season of Creation (more on that in next week's email) we will bless our pets during worship. You can bring your pet with you or a picture!
Worship at First Pres Berkeley - September 24
We will join other Presbyterian Churches in worshipping at First Pres Berkeley on September 24 at 10:00am. If you need help getting a ride to church that day or would like to participate in a joint choir, please email me at pastor@pbpc.org.
