1.10.2023 PBPC Family Bulletin
PBPC Family,
One of the *many* projects we have on our docket for 2023 is to clean out our closets. One of the gifts of PBPC is that we have had the resources to purchase what we need and the room to store it. One of the challenges of PBPC is that we have had the resources to purchase what we need and the room to store it!
In an effort to be good stewards of our building, we will be systematically cleaning out closets. What began with the choir room (which is still a work in progress) will continue into other rooms throughout the church.
As we begin this work, I'd like to ask two things of you:
- If you are willing to volunteer time and energy, we'd love help in sorting through things, keeping what's worthwhile, and tossing what needs to go. Please reach out to me at pastor@pbpc.org to let me know if and when you can help!
- If you have any emotional attachment to any items in certain closets (i.e. banners, worship decorations, sound equipment, supplies) speak now or forever hold your peace! If you're not sure what we have on hand, you are welcome to come by the church to see for yourself.
Grace and Peace,
Pastor Calvin

Lectionary Readings for January 15
2023 Greeter Schedule
The moment you've all been waiting for - our greeter schedule for 2023 is finally here. HERE's a link to it. It will also be embedded at the bottom of each weekly email. As a reminder, if you cannot greet on the day you are assigned, you are responsible for coordinating with someone to cover for you!
2023 Birthdays
We've updated our yearly Birthday list, correcting some birthdays that were wrong and including birthdays of those who weren't on previous lists. HERE's the list - if your name (or someone you know) is missing, let me know so we can add it to the list.
Food Pantry - January 11
Our next food pantry is scheduled for today, January 11 from 5-6pm. Please note the time change - we've moved it an hour earlier because of the shortening daylight. Please arrive at 4:30pm to help set up. If you'd like to help, you can register HERE.
Harbor House Gardening
The prayer garden is almost complete! That hasn't stopped weeds from begging to sprout and pop up. Harbor House has asked PBPC to provide monthly weeding the 4th week of the month. Sign up to help HERE.
Congregational Meeting - January 29
Mark your calendars for January 29. We will have a congregational meeting following the service. More information to come.
