On Sunday, Ginnie shared about a Zoom conversation between Matt Edminster, an Alongside missionary in Estonia and Fyodor Raychynets, a pastor in Ukraine. As promised, I'm sending along the email from Matt with the link to the conversation.

Thank you to all who were able to join us for my Zoom conversation with Ukrainian pastor Fyodor Raychynets on Saturday morning. As promised, here is the recording of our conversation. You can find important links to donate or join the mailing list in the show notes.
 
 
Join me in prayer for clear thought and writing for Fyodor as he works on his doctoral thesis during an important study leave in Oxford. Let's also be praying for the Bethany Church as they develop their ministry to war orphans and elderly. And finally, let's be praying that the Hrantsev family will quickly find the resources they need to purchase a van.

One more update on Alongside Ministry. Dave Pierson recently stepped down from his position as the Executive Director of Alongside Ministry. As Dave shared in his announcement, it was an amicable departure and a leap of faith for Dave. Please be in prayer for Alongside Ministry as they begin the search for a new ED and for Dave and his family as he looks for a new job.

2. 2025 Vocal Extravaganza: Wednesday, July 16, 2025
Description: The YMCO Vocal Extravaganza opens with the Finale of Mozart's great opera Così fan tutte, where the faithfulness of two young couples is put to the test. The concert ends with a big medley from the musical Hairspray, which won 8 Tony Awards (2003). It's a high-energy, feel-good show with themes of racial integration, self-acceptance, and social change. In between, enjoy solo opera arias and songs by our outstanding young singers ranging in age from 10-17. Your toes will be tappin' and your hands a clappin'!

3. 2025 Summer Institute Final Concert: Friday, July 18, 2025
Description: Our 2025 Summer Institute Final Concert will feature all students—from the 0-60 Orchestra to the Jazz Band, R&B Combo, and full choral orchestra. Help us pack the house by reserving your seat below and sharing the link with your friends and family! As always, please do not RSVP for any YMCO students, as all students will be performing.
Time: 7:00 PM Concert (Students will arrive at Claremont Middle School at their usual time & be transported via rented bus)

Labor Day Family Camp - August 29 - Sept 1
We're going to camp! Mission Springs, a Christian Camp in the Santa Cruz Mountains, hosts a yearly Labor Day Family Camp. It is open to all - families, couples, or those single. There will be speakers, worship, and lots of fun activities. For more information and to register, please visit Mission Springs website.
