9.24.2024 PBPC Family Bulletin

PBPC Family,

This week the Lausanne Movement has their 4th Global Conference in Seoul. The Lausanne Movement began in 1974, with leaders from around the globe gathering to discuss, debate, and strategize on how the Global Church could fulfill the Great Commission.

In preparation for their gathering this month, the Lausanne Movement released the State of the Great Commission. It is an incredible document with statistics and reports from around the world on the state of the Christian church and evangelism efforts. It is a hefty document, clocking in at over 500 pages!

I encourage you to look through the table of contents for something that sparks your curiosity. Is there a country for which you'd like to learn more? To be able to pray more specifically for them? There are also great statistics and numbers on the growth of the church worldwide. If you don't have time (or the interest!) in looking through it, that's okay. But please take some time this week to pray for all the leaders gathering at the Lausanne Conference, including our friend Grace Al-Zoughbi Arteen!

State of the Great Commission

Note: I am out of town starting today through Monday, September 30. I will not be responding to emails. If there is an urgent pastoral need, please contact Amber at amber@pbpc.org.

Looking forward to worshipping with you all on Sunday!

Grace and Peace,

Pastor Calvin

James 5:13-20
