On Sunday, we will begin reading Sailboat Church and discussing it as part of our Adult Sunday School. I invite all of you to purchase the book and read it. If you can join us for our discussions on Sunday at 9:30, you can join in person or via Zoom (see below) and we'd love to have you!
We are going to spend the next few months exploring our identity and mission as a church community and Sailboat Church is one way we will do this. For those unable to participate in the book study, I will use this space in the weekly emails to provide a recap of each chapter of Sailboat Church alongside some of my own thoughts and reflections.
Whether you join us in this book study or not, I hope you will join me in praying for this journey at Park Boulevard. Pray that God will guide us into a deeper knowledge of God's love for us, that God will give us greater clarity of who God has made us to be, and that God will fill us with God's Spirit to energize and empower us for the journey ahead. I am excited for what we will discover!

Adult Sunday School
Our Adult Sunday School is back in person - now meeting at 9:30am in the church Library next to the Iona Room. All are welcome to join. We will begin our study of Sailboat Church - please read the Introduction in preparation for our time together. Here's a ZOOM link for those who want to join remotely.
Kid's Corner!
Psalm 23, our passage for Sunday, is such a beautiful passage of Scripture and one that is easy to read and discuss with children. Here's a children's book that's adapted Psalm 23 in child friendly language to help them see and understand how God cares for us.
Harbor House Thrift Store
Harbor House, one of our mission partners, is in need of children's clothing for their thrift store. If you have gently used children's clothes, consider donating them to Harbor House. They sell the clothes for $1-2, which gives families a sense of dignity in being able to purchase things with their own money. Or, if you'd like to go shopping, everything purchased supports HH's ministries. For more info on the Thrift Store, click HERE.
