PBPC Family, Last year, in our final food pantry of the year, we wanted to be a blessing. A team of us discussed how each month we give away essentials - food and hygiene supplies - and we are so glad to provide these critical resources to our friends and neighbors. But God doesn't just give us what we need - God is gratuitously generous. God provides us with gifts far beyond the essentials of food, water, and shelter. This year, we want to continue in that same vein. Our final food pantry of the year is Wednesday, December 10 from 5:00-6:00pm. We're going to make Blessing Bags, give away a nice votive candle, treats, and a $25 Target Gift Card. We're also hoping to have hot cider, cookies, and live music during the food pantry. We hope to create a space where people can lin...

PBPC Family, Thanks to everyone who stuck around after service for our conversation on the lease we are negotiation with New City Church. I was grateful for everyone's honesty and willingness to share and listen well to one another. My experience of PBPC is there is a deep desire for every voice to be heard, everyone to be included, and for us to move forward in following God together. This is not always easy, but it is good. If you missed the conversation or would like to discuss things further, I'd love to connect. You can send me an email at pastor@pbpc.org and we can find a time to further talk! This Sunday, we will be joined in worship by some friends from First Pres Berkeley. They cannot access their church building due to the Berkeley Half Marathon and so they are worshipping with other congregations around the Bay Area. Looking forward to worshipping with you on Sunday! Grace and Peace, Pastor Calvin "The Shepherd God" Jeremiah 23:1-6 Calvin Sodestrom Pre-Ser...
